Good Night, Sweet Prince

Brian left us this morning, at around ten minutes to eleven o'clock.

Dad summed it up after he had said farewell to the shell of Brian that remained, finally at rest, in the hospital bed:

"In that little body lying there showed  much of the character of Christ. Those eyes, those lips, those hands have spoken much truth and love and care.

"And because of that we don't say Goodbye; we say Goodnight - we'll see you in the morning."

----------------------------------------------------------

No more night. No more pain.
No more tears; never crying again.
Praises to the great "I AM" -
[He is now] in the light of the risen Lamb.

  2. I soooo remember Mr. Brian - esp. as a timid Freshman('82-'83). He and his "crew" came to the airport to pick up students for the new school year. Later, got to know him more through the years at Prairie.
Thots & prayers are with all the family members during this time of loss.
    Until then....

  4. I have known Brian for many years, but the last few years of his life I had the opportunity of working with him. He became a friend and mentor. I will miss him greatly. For Char these will not be easy days. How wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father makes no mistakes. Please tell Char I will be praying for her and Brian's family.

  7. Oh my! His was one life that touched others through me. His love for the Word and how to truly delve into it for treasures is still passed on to others by me. What a Godly man and what a heritage!!!
