The Night Before Thanksgiving Month

How much do you have to be thankful for? Each year it seems like I have more and more.

And yet, we get one day. One official day to pause and see how much we have to be grateful for in the past year.

A few years ago I found that that was just too restrictive for me; so I started trying to make note each day in October of one person or thing or event for which I was grateful. I'm going to try to keep up the tradition again this year.

There are new people, once-in-a-lifetime events, special moments, that I want to share with you if I can. Unfortunately, it also turns out that I am busier than ever; so please bear with me if I'm a bit late on some of the entries.

Are you ready?! We'll jump in tomorrow by starting at the beginning ...

  1. I'm ready, and eagerly looking forward to entering the avenue of thanksgiving with you, as this glowing photo invites us to do! Thank you for this tradition, as welcome and fragrant as fallen leaves and roast turkey dinner.

    1. This is the avenue about a block away from the TH! A picture snapped on a crisp, still day just before a wind ripped the tremulous leaves off their branches ... Thanks to Don for alerting me to the beauty up the street.
